Tickets
Extra tickets are available for all commencement ceremonies. Students may reserve up to two (2) additional tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are available today. They will be distributed in the order requested until the supply is depleted. Extra tickets will not be distributed on the day of the ceremonies.
Important Reminders:
- ADA guest seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors to the Student Activity Center (SAC) open 90 minutes prior to the ceremony. If ADA seating is needed, guests must pick up an ADA pass in the SAC food court. One companion seat is available if needed. Staff will be available to assist.
- The arena has a clear bag policy. Backpacks, umbrellas and balloons are not permitted.
- Only graduating students and commencement personnel are permitted in the commencement assembly and seating areas and may participate in the commencement procession and ceremony. If a personal assistant is required as a disability accommodation, please contact the Office of Disability Services.
- A UNC Charlotte student ID card or mobile ID is required to enter the graduate area. Please be ready with your ID so that the lines move quickly. If you do not have a valid UNC Charlotte ID card, please follow the instructions on how to download a mobile ID. Please review the regalia decoration policy (cap, stole, etc.).
To register for e-tickets, complete the following steps:
- Visit Charlotte Athletics to access the Student Ticket page.
- Select Sign In as Student. You will be redirected to the University Web Authentication page. Enter your NinerNET credentials if you have not done so already.
- You will be redirected to the My Account page. Select the Students button, then Commencement. Your ceremony/ceremonies will be displayed.
- Please share with your guests instructions to create a ticket account.

Graduating students will receive an email with ceremony check-in instructions on December 9.
The last day to pick up your cap and gown at the campus bookstore is Friday, Dec. 6.
